About
Learn AI by trying it yourself.
Toorova takes someone who knows nothing about AI and gets them building with it.
- 438lessons
- 32paths, beginner to expert
- 4,248of 7,724 screens ask you to work something out
Why Toorova exists
To let more people express their creativity through AI and robotics.
The question comes first
Every idea is taught in the same order. It is the whole product.
- 1You answerA real situation, before anything is explained.
- 2You commitPick, drag, or move a slider. Now you are right or wrong.
- 3Then it explainsThe reward for having tried, and it lands.
In Control: From PID to MPC you get a cold room, a boiler that can only add heat, and two dials feeding it: one marked “Push harder the further off the room is”, the other “Push harder the longer it stays off”. Hold the room within 0.3 degrees of 21 for ten seconds. Turn the first as high as it goes and the room always parks short of target. Somebody who has watched that happen can say why a controller that pushes in proportion to the error never quite arrives, and no paragraph was going to hand them that sentence.
Could you get this from a chatbot in ten seconds? Then it does not earn a screen.

For Professionals
Role tracks for applying AI in the job you already have.
Separate shelf
Four rules we hold ourselves to
- One idea per screen. Two things you could fail to understand is two screens.
- Every wrong answer says why it was tempting. Not "Incorrect": the belief behind it.
- Meet the idea before its name. The word arrives once you understand the thing.
- We teach what survives better AI. Verification, calibration, judgment, not recall.
Passing is earned
Finish a lesson however it goes, and you never lose your place.
XP, badges and certificates need 70% of the scored questions — and the exercises actually done.
- Struggling costs nothing. XP is deferred, never forfeited.
- The exercises count too. You can always skip one that is not landing, and the lesson still finishes, your streak still counts and the XP for the questions is still earned. It just does not pass — the exercises are the half where you do the work rather than pick an option.
- A certificate needs every lesson passed, not finished. One you could tap through would be worth nothing.
What a parent or teacher sees
Enough to help. Never enough to look over a shoulder.
They see
- Streaks, level, XP and badges
- Lessons finished, and lessons passed
- The titles of what is being worked on
They never see
- Individual questions and answers
- Private journal entries
- AI tutor conversations
See whether it teaches the way we say it does.
The Foundations layer is free, permanently. One lesson is enough to tell.
