How does a robot know where it is?
Robots count wheel turns, read an IMU and check GPS or landmarks, then a filter weighs each one by how far it can be trusted. Here's how, with worked numbers.
How we write these
Each article starts from a question people ask about AI or robotics. We research it from primary sources: papers, official documentation, textbooks and the organizations that built the thing. Every factual claim links to where it came from, and the full list is at the bottom of each page.
We use AI tools to help research and draft. Every draft then goes through a separate fact-check that opens each source and confirms it says what the article claims. Anything that can't be verified is cut or the article doesn't go up. Articles follow the same teaching standard as the Toorova course.
